Please read these documents before using Wakeframe. Mandatory rights under the laws that apply to you are not limited by these documents.
1. Service and eligibility
These terms govern Wakeframe, operated by Yotsuya (Yosuke Fujita), Japan. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age or guardian-consent requirement that applies where you live. Provide an accurate date of birth and account information. Do not impersonate someone or evade a suspension with another account.
2. Your account
Keep sign-in credentials secure and report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Some features require internet access and an eligible Apple device. Optional permissions can be declined, although the related feature may then be unavailable. Usernames must be unique and may be restricted or changed when necessary to address impersonation or infringement.
3. The morning window
Stopping a scheduled alarm starts a posting window of up to 60 minutes. A later valid alarm stop can restart that window. A morning post must finish uploading and be accepted by the server before the deadline to unlock friends’ posts for that local day. The day follows your device time zone and resets at midnight; the posting window cannot extend beyond that day. Without an alarm stop, or after an uncompleted window expires, you cannot post until another valid window is available. After a successful morning post you can also make ordinary posts that day. Direct messages do not require unlocking the feed. Do not manipulate timestamps, clients or access controls to bypass these rules.
4. Your content and permission to host it
You retain ownership of your content. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, compress, format and display it only as needed to operate the service, deliver it to your selected audience, and handle safety and legal obligations. This does not transfer ownership or give us an unrestricted right to sell your photographs. You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload, including images, voices and information about other people. Choose your audience carefully; recipients can make copies outside the app.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not post or send child sexual exploitation material, grooming, sexual exploitation, explicit sexual content, non-consensual intimate images, credible threats, incitement to violence, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, doxxing or other privacy violations. Fraud, impersonation, spam, illegal trade, intellectual-property infringement, account theft, malicious code, unauthorized scraping and attempts to defeat security controls are prohibited. Do not use the service to facilitate crimes or encourage dangerous conduct. Report urgent danger to local emergency services; Wakeframe is not an emergency-response service.
6. Reports, restrictions and appeals
You can report content, messages or accounts and block users in the app. We may remove content, issue warnings, temporarily restrict an account, or suspend it indefinitely based on severity, context, reliability of the evidence and prior violations. Protective restrictions can be applied while serious risks are investigated. A report count alone is not a finding of guilt. Restriction notices and available appeals can be accessed in the app, and support can receive further concerns. An accepted appeal reverses the relevant decision where restoration is possible; it does not recreate deleted files or undo an independent restriction. We cooperate with lawful requests and preserve information where legally required.
7. Alarms and availability
Alarms and notifications depend on device power, system permissions, operating-system behavior and other conditions; network-dependent features also require connectivity. We cannot promise that an alarm will always sound or that uploads will always finish on time. Do not rely on Wakeframe for medical, life-critical or other safety-critical purposes. We may maintain, change or discontinue features with notice where reasonably practicable or legally required.
8. Advertising
The app may show advertisements identified as ads among feed posts. Advertising providers and third-party destinations have their own terms and privacy practices. Do not deliberately generate invalid impressions or clicks. Wakeframe currently has no paid subscription or in-app purchase; any future paid offer will disclose its price and applicable conditions before purchase.
9. Leaving the service
You may delete your account through Settings. Recent sign-in and confirmation steps help prevent accidental deletion. Deletion removes access and starts server-side removal as described in the privacy policy. We may terminate access for serious or repeated violations, subject to applicable law and available appeal procedures. Obligations that by their nature survive termination, including necessary legal record preservation and dispute rights, continue to apply.
10. Responsibility, changes and contact
We will exercise reasonable care in providing the service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by other users’ independent conduct. Japanese law governs these terms except where your mandatory local rights require otherwise; this does not remove any non-waivable right to bring a claim in a competent court. Updated terms will be published with their effective date and material changes communicated as required. Contact support about the service, a report, an appeal, or these terms.
